Guguru Media and Genti Media are collaborating to create a unique radio drama, “Murder on Space X”. This drama will be broadcasted through X (previously known as Twitter) Space, an innovative medium for this traditional acoustic format.
“Murder on Space X” is a murder mystery audio drama that unravels the story of the troubled Macaulay family. Each family member harbors grudges, leaving the fate of the patriarch in jeopardy. As the dinner progresses, a lethal plot reaches its peak, making every family member a potential suspect in the mystery surrounding his death. The drama aims to delve into their motives and identify the individual who witnessed Mr. Jude’s last moments.
The cast of “Murder on Space X” includes newly contracted talents from Guguru Media: Jude Chukwuka as Chief Jude Macaulay, Onajite Dede as Mrs. Macaulay, Obi Maduegbuna as Obi, Sharon Rotimi as Sharon, Kanyinsola Eros as Kanyin, and Iremide Adeoye as Mide.
The script for “Murder on Space X” is a joint effort by Toye Ogunwole and Mautin Tairu, with Ogunwole playing a significant role in its development. This unique scripted production guarantees an enthralling voice-acting experience.
Guguru Media is a talent management agency in Nollywood, while Genti Media is a media platform committed to promoting African audio content. It boasts a content library of over 10,000 hours in 15 languages, featuring voices like Ahmed Isah Koko, Elma Mbadiwe, Chiwetalu Agu, and Uzor Arukwe.
The inaugural episode of “Murder on Space X” will be aired on X (Twitter) Space on an undisclosed date in May. This will serve as a platform to gauge the potential success of the drama series, which is intended to run for an extended period.
