A Nigerian-American interior designer, Victoria Adesanmi, has made headlines for her stunning work on the Barbie Malibu DreamHouse, a real-life replica of the iconic doll’s home that was recently listed on Airbnb.

Adesanmi, who is the founder and principal of Aesthetics Studios, a design company that creates artistic spaces for celebrities, brands, and events, was the creative director of the project that transformed a Malibu mansion into a pink paradise that reflects Barbie’s signature style and personality.

The house, which was created by Airbnb in collaboration with Mattel, the toy company that owns the Barbie brand, was designed to celebrate the upcoming Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie, which features some iconic outfits and props from the film.

The house features a hobby room, a personal cinema, an infinity pool, an outdoor meditation zone, a closet full of Barbie’s and Ken’s outfits and accessories, and many other details that celebrate Barbie’s history and achievements.

Adesanmi, who has a background in color and material design and has worked for Adidas, Beyoncé, Kanye West, and other clients, launched her own business in 2021 and collaborated with the Barbie team to bring the iconic doll’s dream house to life.

She is an amazing and talented designer who bridges the gap between creativity and faith. She has received praise and recognition from social media users who celebrated her achievement and talent. One user wrote: “I watched @vicadesanmi step out on faith and chase her dreams, and LOOK AT THE POWER OF GOD.”
