Tiwa Savage Music Programme concludes, awards $2 million in scholarships

The Berklee in Nigeria: Tiwa Savage Intensive Music Programme celebrated its inaugural edition with a Grand Finale Concert and Graduation/Award Ceremony at the National Theatre in Lagos. The five-day program, held from April 22-26, 2026, brought together 120 emerging Nigerian musicians and professionals for immersive training.

Eighteen participants received over $2 million in scholarships for fully funded undergraduate places at Berklee College of Music in Boston. This initiative, a partnership between the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation and Berklee College of Music, marks Berklee’s first on-the-ground program in Nigeria, fostering talent and global opportunities within the African music scene.
