For its second issue, themed Beauty Comes in all forms, the US-based art, fashion and culture magazine focuses on the various interpretations of beauty. While featuring exclusive stories with models, photographers and other creatives, the project intends to be an inspiration to “those that aspire to go on the journey of finding beauty for themselves.”
Prazzle magazine aims to express the experiences of creatives and give them a platform to share their stories and thrive. The first issue, launched in May 2022, invites young creatives to understand “the essence of creativity”.
“I have come to realise that beauty can be found in anything,” Ann Austin, the magazine’s editor-in-chief, says. “From music, fashion, art, and any form of artistic expression to even the creators themselves. You have just got to open your eyes to see it.”
As the famous saying goes, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Therefore, beauty has a different meaning for every person. Prazzle’s latest issue steps into the world of young creators across the globe and seeks to see various versions of beauty through their eyes.
Prazzle has also collaborated with Ethiopian artist Fanuel Leul on the launch of a limited merchandise line. The collaboration “envisions #BlackExcellence.” A statement released by Prazzle states that the merchandise line is “rooted in African stories and characters, looking forward through the lens of our cultural past and creating a new narrative of the future through Afrofuturism.”
